To deactivate your Facebook account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings & Privacy, then choose Settings.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Privacy and click on Your Facebook Information.
- Look for Deactivation and Deletion and click View.
- Select Deactivate Account and click Continue to Account Deactivation.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your deactivation.
Your profile will be hidden, but you can reactivate it anytime by logging back in.
